Quality
Each cake is carefully handmade, using only the freshest ingredients available. Our from-scratch recipes come from a long tradition of baking experience and customer satisfaction. Flavors run the range from the traditional white cake with vanilla butter cream through chocolate and vanilla cakes and fillings, to fruit flavors, carrot cake, mousse fillings... just about anything you can think of.
Decoration
Varied decoration styles are available; You can choose one of the many standard designs that we do, from elegantly crisp and simple to traditionally decorated with swags and butter cream roses, to quaintly baroque or Victorian, basket weave, "cornelli" lace, offset stacking, with or without pillars, etc...Or, bring in, or email us, a design idea of your own or a picture from a magazine and we'll reproduce it for you.
Pricing
Pricing depends on several factors: the number of serving you need, the size of the serving (traditional wedding cake sized servings are about half the size of the dessert serving. Our cakes are so good that many people use the wedding cake for dessert), the kind of cake and filling you want, the complexity of the design, whether the flowers are fresh or butter cream, or even sugar, the number of tiers you want and how many tiers are on pillars and whether you need the cake to be delivered and to where. If you have an idea of what you want, we will be happy to give a quote online. Give us as much information as you can so we can give you an accurate price.
Lead time and payment
In general, two weeks' advance notice is all we need to take care of your wedding cake, but in the summer season (roughly June through October) we can get very busy, so it's a good idea to order at least a month ahead of time. A $ 50.00 deposit confirms your order and secures the date (this is refundable if canceled with at least two weeks' notice) We request full payment at least one week in advance of your reserved date, but other arrangements can be made.
